Opsec guide (for average users) - femboy - Oct 27, 2025 Read before doing anything else | V This is for the average person here who doesn't have a lot of money to spend, of course, some of the listed things here can be changed and aren't 100% needed, this is just what used to fit my needs 1. Operating system Use linux if you want, I use windows personally, at the end of the day, doesn't really matter unless you're a bigshot 2. Email mailhaven.su is pretty good, I like their stuff, alo.ne is also a good option, been around longer, cock.li is nice too 3. VPN/proxyVery straightforward, use the tor proxy (not the browser, though you have to download the browser to get it) if you have no money, perfectly good option. After installing the tor browser, got toTor Browser\Browser\TorBrowser\Data\Tor\torrc. After you do this, make it look something like this [color=#000000][font=sans-serif]DataDirectory C:\TorIf you have a bit of money to spend, mullvad is very good, 5$/month, takes crypto 4. Browser I use Helium & Zen browser but you can use whatever browser you like (besides edge and google chrome) 5. Chat/messaging Use signal for serious shit and telegram for regular daily stuff, you can use discord I suppose i don't recommend it though Note that at the end of the day, it all comes down to what you do and what information you put out there, none of this means anything if you put your first and last name on your profile and post pictures w/ your family on it. Just don't do anything stupid my bad, for this part, it's just DataDirectory C:\Tor SocksPort 9050 ControlPort 9051 RE: Opsec guide (for average users) - Caucasian0483 - Oct 28, 2025 This is decent but make sure your using anonymous phone numbers with signal and tele even better use apps like session & tox. Also utilize vms specifically whonix you can install in on windows and its a vm and all internet traffic goes though the tor network. Mail haven is a decent email server for sure better than proton mail some other grate emails are OnionMail,DNMX & Mailum. For more advanced users read this guide https://anonymousplanet.org/guide/ |
